So, yes, if your willing to bridge the miles to find the OHR dog of your dreams!~ We are in...……..luckily we have a large network of friends in rescue that will gladly help! Local Support Volunteers are tried and true rescuers who make long distance adoptions successful!

What if I don't have a fence??
It depends more on the dog than the home. If we have a dog that is here for running away, then NO, we aren't going to give them a chance to reoffend. Some dogs energy level and emotional state requires they have free time in a safe enclosure, they are entitled to that. We spend a lot of time and care matching and as a result we have a very good track record of adoption success.

Can I come meet all the dogs at your location???
NO, We are a Foster Home Network. The dogs can be almost anywhere in the surrounding counties to our Headquarters in Cabool, MO living in a home, gaining real life skills and citizenship.

Can I adopt a dog for another person as a gift?
NO, we offer sponsorship of adoption but we still must match the dog to the intended owner. Matching is critically essential for success! We can arrange the monetary considerations be sponsored by a friend or family member but we must work with the intended guardian!

What to expect from the process! Once you get your info in and found a good match for your family, you will be matched to a Local Support Volunteer. This will be a confirmed, tried and true rescue person and will come and help think of things to prepare, share ideas, and be there for you after the adoption! Then the fun part, the meet n greet!! Your family and dog come and meet ours in a neutral location and let nature take its course!
